Wow, what a lot of crap to go through for a home of your own. Seriously. I had no idea what went into this. The hundreds of signatures and initials required is mind boggling. Time lines, deadlines, inspections, fees, blah, blah, blah. And after is all said and done, we'll be broke. Again. I enjoy renting. I like the fact that it's my house, but someone else is ultimately responsible for it. Does that make me afraid of commitment? Oh well.

Haley's tooth

Haley had her dentist visit today. It was supposed to be last Wed., but they "forgot" to tell us about the cost of the knock out gas. I showed up with a certain amount of $$ and had to reschedule.

Today was just as annoying. We showed up at 8:30 because that's what it said on the appointment card. When I signed in, the semi-rude receptionist said my appointment wasn't until 9:30. I showed her the card and she just repeated herself. Then she asked me if "that was OK"? It kinda has to be, doesn't it? How can it not. What would I do if it wasn't? Force them to see her right then? The dentist wasn't even in yet. The door was open, the office opens at 8:30, but they don't have appointments until 9:00. Huh.

Anyway, they took her back and capped her tooth. It looks better than the grey dead tooth that was there. Shame we spent all that $$ on something that will literally fall out in a few years. Oh well. She's doing just fine, no after effects of the gas and her tooth/mouth doesn't hurt. All in all, acceptable.
